Fashion/Social Issues Photography
My models were both African American and I had portrayed that through the fashion and forms they had took on. Their hands cover there faces to show how society blocks them out and how the political and legal atmosphere does not lean towards their sides. The black and white exaggeration shows that there isn't a clear view that we as people have yet and the rustic environments resemble the negatives that African Americans face in their lives and how they are portrayed to other people.
